The finished product of my repair, paint and staining project is superb. Old wallpaper and water damage repair had my home looking unfinished and unkempt. The head painter is a perfectionist, which explains the extra time the job required. The extra time is my only complaint. The wood stain expert mixed and matched the existing color to perfection. My new raw wood door looks like it’s original to the home. Gray was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. Professional, skilled, and friendly.
Gray and his team were wonderful to work with! From the beginning to the end, they communicated well and always kept me updated. The finished product is absolutely beautiful. Shades of Gray did a fantastic job. The work was done quickly. The clean up was done so well, you couldn't tell they had been here (except for my beautiful walls!).
I've used Shades of Gray for two projects now and I'm getting ready for a third!
I was introduced to them through a friend who knows Shades of Gray from their apartment/commercial painting side. His team of three awesome guys painted my new house before I moved in and I couldn't be more thrilled with their work! Several coats, repairing/flattening the wall, and exceptionally friendly. They repaired trim, painted doors, plugged holes, and left the place spotless.
Recently a different crew has redone my countertops with an epoxy which looks amazing. I needed to do a smidge of clean up from the dust in the corners but they did the lion's share of it and the areas missed were easy to miss.
Next up: finishing the basement! I look forward to another project with Gray who is competitively priced and gives amazing customer service while managing his expert teams.

These guys did an incredible job re-painting my house exterior. They started the job quickly, the crew was fantastic and the price was very reasonable compared to their competitors.
A few years ago my mother was considering selling her house and desperately needed glazing on her windows. Her budget was very minimal and couldn't afford to do everything necessary to get a perfect job. Shades of Gray worked with her and they ended up doing a better job than expected at a very low cost. I can't imagine another paint company not only working within her budget but going beyond what we agreed on. There's the saying, "good help is hard to find" and if you are reading this you have found the best out there. Super nice and SUPERIOR customer satisfaction. I give them a 6 out of 5 stars!
